Two years after making his directorial debut with Creed III, Michael B. Jordan, who plays Adonis Creed in the Rocky spinoff, revealed that a fourth installment is still in development. Furthermore, the actor and director plans to expand the universe with additional projects. Ultimately, definitely. This franchise has been very good to me. I love MGM and Irwin Winkler and everything they do. I think there's still a lot of story to tell. Do I want to spend the next 15 years in the ring? Not really. But I think there are interesting avenues and characters we've already introduced, and it would be interesting to see where that leads, plus I have a few new characters in mind. I might be able to do a couple more really good takes on the franchise. Besides the fourth film, there's at least one spinoff in the works—a streaming series for Amazon centered on Adonis Creed's daughter, Amara. In the third installment, viewers already saw that the girl has her own boxing ambitions. We're making a spinoff about Adonis's daughter, Amara's story—a series that Amazon picked up. So you'll see various parts of what I call the "Creed Universe." These small IPs will keep the universe alive even without my character. I'll just be around. For now, Creed 4 exists only in Michael B. Jordan's plans. The original Rocky series remains one of the most iconic sports franchises in cinema, and the Creed films have successfully continued its legacy for a new generation of viewers.
