- A love that transforms, cracks and gets out of control: it comes to Sky Cinema on TV One A SHORT STORY OF LOVE, a new film with Pilar Fogliati, Adriano Giannini, Andrea Carpenzano and Valeria Golino, which will start on Monday 4 May at 9.15pm on Sky Cinema One, streaming on NOW and available on demand. The film will be available on demand on Sky even in 4Ké.
Written and directed by Ludovico Rampoldi, nominated for the David di Donatello 2026 for Best Directorial Debut, A SHORT STORY OF LOVE previously presented at the Rome Film Festival in the "Large Audience" section stands out for its clear and contemporary look at the relationship between desire, ambiguity and the need for connection. NOW TV Pass
An exceptional cast leads the tale: Pilar Fogliati, among the most outstanding faces of contemporary Italian cinema, together with Andrea Carpenzano, one of the most interesting actors of his generation, and two champions of our cinema such as Adriano Giannini and Valeria Golino, who for this interpretation received a nomination as Best Supporting Actress at this year's David di Donatello.
A film that explores the most fragile and unpredictable side of feelings, moving with a balance between the intimate dimension and the obsessive drift, never offering simple answers.
SYNOPSIS - This is the story of two couples. Thirty-year-old Lea and Andrea, and fifty-year-old Rocco and Cecilia. Four characters whose destinies collide in the evening, Lea meets Rocco in a bar and begins a secret relationship with him, consummated in a hotel room. Obviously a betrayal, like many others, which takes an unexpected turn when Lea begins to slide into Rocco's life, to the point of involving their companions in a final showdown.
