Australia’s tour of Pakistan for the T20 series

SYDNEY: Australia’s tour of Pakistan for the T20 series will go ahead as scheduled, Cricket Australia Chief Executive Todd Greenberg said on Tuesday.

Greenberg said the official dates for the Pakistan Australia T20 series are yet to be announced. He said a security delegation was sent to Pakistan in January to conduct assessments ahead of the tour.

He said Cricket Australia would engage with players after the conclusion of the Ashes series to discuss the Pakistan tour and address any concerns. Greenberg added that players would be fully briefed on all security related arrangements.

The Cricket Australia chief executive said he had traveled to Pakistan with players in 2022 and described the visit as a very positive experience.
